You are invited to join others in our Christian family for a series
of Faith In Action discussions regarding immigration, in the
downstairs Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 209
Washtenaw, Ypsilanti, Michigan, 48197.

The series will be informal and will start on Sunday, July 11, 2010,
and continue each Sunday through August, 1, 2010. The session will go from

12:30 pm to 1:30 p.m. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Childcare will not be provided.

The objective is to provide an opportunity to express thoughts, fears
and concerns regarding immigration policies in the U.S., and to learn
a little bit about and begin to understand a few of the many
complexities of this current front-page issue. It is inadvisable to
take a position on an issue with which we are not fully conversant.
This series will tie in topically with the Isaiah 58 National Prayer Vigil and
Fast; Michigan's designated time, along with several other states, is
July 11 - 17.
